Privacy Policy for Genart
Genart does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data. It has no accounts, no analytics, no advertising, and no third-party SDKs. The released app does not request the Android internet permission, so it cannot send anything anywhere — this is a property of the app as built, not only a promise.
Who this policy is from
This policy covers the Android application Genart
(application ID beebaby.genart), distributed through Google
Play. In this document, "the app" means that application, and "we" means
its developer.
Information we collect
None. The app does not collect, request, generate, or receive any of the following:
- Names, email addresses, phone numbers, or any other contact details
- Accounts, logins, or user profiles — the app has no sign-in of any kind
- Device identifiers, advertising IDs, or installation identifiers
- Location data, whether precise or approximate
- Contacts, calendar, photos you did not create in the app, files, SMS, or call logs
- Usage analytics, event logs, session recordings, or performance telemetry
- Crash reports gathered by the app itself
Because nothing is collected, there is nothing for us to store, share, sell, or disclose, and no data of yours that a third party could request from us.
The app has no network access
Genart runs entirely on your device. Every image is generated locally by the
app's own code. The released build declares no
android.permission.INTERNET permission, which means Android
itself prevents the app from opening a network connection. There is no
server, no backend, and no account system associated with this app.
Images you save
When you tap Save, the app writes a PNG image to your device's own
photo library, in the Pictures/Genart album, using Android's
MediaStore. This happens only when you ask for it.
- The image stays on your device. It is not uploaded anywhere.
- We never see it and have no way to see it.
- The file belongs to you. You can move, share, or delete it through your normal gallery app, and deleting the app's images is entirely under your control.
Seed codes and the clipboard
Every image in Genart is described by a short seed code such as
SY-1SCAESMYP. When you tap the copy button, that code — and
only that code — is placed on your device's system clipboard so you can
paste it elsewhere. The clipboard is managed by Android, not by us, and the
code contains nothing about you: it describes only how to draw the picture.
Permissions
Genart requests no Android runtime permissions at all. It does not ask for storage, camera, location, contacts, or any other permission, and it will never prompt you to grant one. Saving images works without a storage permission because Android's scoped storage lets an app write to its own album in your photo library.
Third-party services
The app bundles no third-party software development kits, analytics libraries, advertising networks, crash-reporting services, or social media integrations. It is built on the Flutter framework and uses no external packages beyond it.
Google Play itself may collect information about app installs, purchases, and — if you have enabled that on your device — automatic crash and diagnostic reports. That collection is performed by Google under Google's Privacy Policy, is outside our control, and is not something the app initiates or can access.
Children
Genart is suitable for all ages. It collects no data from anyone, including children, and contains no advertising, no in-app purchases, no user-generated content, and no links to external content within the app.
Your rights
Privacy laws such as the GDPR and the CCPA give you rights to access, correct, export, or delete personal data that a company holds about you. We hold no personal data about you, so there is nothing to access or delete on our side. Any images you created remain on your device and can be removed at any time using your gallery app or by uninstalling Genart.
Changes to this policy
If a future version of the app changes what it does with data, this policy will be updated before that version is released, and the effective date at the top of this page will change. Any material change will be described here rather than made silently.
